Château de Chassagne-Montrachet in the vines
In 1986, he bought his first estate, Château de Davenay, which is famous, among other things, for its Montagny 1er Cru “Clos Chaudron”. And his dream came true when he bought his fifth estate in 1997 ; Château de Chassagne-Montrachet, Corton Grand Cru “Clos des Fiètres” and Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru “Les Chaumées” are its key appellations. With his passion, courage and perseverance, Michel Picard has built, over the years, a renown wine estate : 125 hectares of vines divided into 5 estates, now managed with his family.
