Oil painting with natural pigments of sand. Painting are mainly worked with brush and knife. The colors used, ocher, sienna, burnt earth, reminiscent of the taste for travel and earth. The sand is used to provide the material to the canvas. Because of the roughness, it absorbs the paint and gives relief to the barren landscapes.
